Such a proud moment for us all! Kudos to all the scientists and engineers at ISRO. It’s a huge moment for everyone who worked hard on it for many years and even the great minds who came before them! 😃🇮🇳
India is now the first country to land its spacecraft on the south pole of the Moon. The lander Vikram, is named after the father of India's space mission Vikram Sarabhai. The Pragyan rover has rolled out from the Vikram lander and will now be exploring the Moon and studying the lunar surface. The studies will also help understand what the moon is composed of underneath the surface! 🔎🌕
